Sensex up 139pts; breadth fairly +ve

The Sensex is now up 139 points at 16,293.

The NSE Nifty is up 28 points at 4,907.

Infosys has zoomed 5.7% to Rs 1,596, and Satyam has soared over 4% to Rs 471.

Reliance Energy has surged 3% to Rs 1,339. Wipro has rallied nearly 2% to Rs 433.

Hindalco, Reliance and ICICI Bank have gained 1.5% each at Rs 176, Rs 2,647 and Rs 819, respectively.

DLF has moved up 1.3% to Rs 626, and TCS has added 1% to Rs 986.

Ambuja Cements has shed 2.8% at Rs 113, and BHEL has slipped 2.3% to Rs 1,794.

Bharti Airtel and ONGC have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 802 and Rs 1,008, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates, Tata Motors and Hindustan Unilever are down around 1.5% each to Rs 215, Rs 616 and Rs 242, respectively.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,606 stocks traded, 1,896 have advanced, 633 have declined and 77 are unchanged.
