Sensex up 139pts; market breadth firm

The Sensex is now up 139 points at 10,951.

ICICI Bank has soared over 4% to Rs 592. Larsen & Toubro and Bharti Airtel has gained around 2.5% each at Rs 2,265 and Rs 401, respectively.

SBI and ITC have advanced nearly 2% each to Rs 827 and Rs 172, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Reliance Communications and ONGC are the other major gainers.

Out of 2,425 stocks traded so far, 1,455 have advanced, 883 have declined and 87 are unchanged.
