Sensex up 139pts; Maruti rallies 3%

The Sensex is now up 139 points at 19,877.

Cipla has soared 4.5% to Rs 198. Maruti has surged nearly 3% to Rs 1,061.

ICICI Bank and HDFC have rallied 2.4% each to Rs 1,190 and Rs 2,805, respectively.

NTPC, Reliance Energy and Infosys have moved up around 2% each to Rs 249, Rs 1,925 and Rs 1,634, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has advanced 1.5% to Rs 786. SBI and Ranbaxy are up 1.3% each at Rs 2,414 and Rs 398, respectively.

Grasim has shed 3.3% at Rs 3,670. Hindalco has slipped 2.3% to Rs 195.

Bajaj Auto has declined 1.8% to Rs 2,750, and HDFC Bank is down 1.3% at Rs 1,705.

Out of 2,848 stocks traded so far, 1,881 have advanced, 922 have declined and 45 are unchanged.
