Sensex up 140pts; HDFC, Hind Unilever gain

The Sensex is now up 140 points at 15,784.

The NSE Nifty is up 31 points at 4,766.

Hindalco and Hindustan Unilever have moved up nearly 2% each to Rs 168 and Rs 233, respectively.

HDFC has advanced 1.7% to Rs 2,424. Satyam, ONGC and ICICI Bank have added 1.3% each to Rs 400, Rs 995 and Rs 780, respectively.

Wipro has plunged 2% to Rs 417. Tata Steel has slipped 1.6% to Rs 682, and BHEL has dropped 1.3% to Rs 2,030.
