Sensex up 141pts; Hindustan Unilever soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 141 points at 15,009.

Hindustan Unilever has zoomed over 4% to Rs 204. Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra have soared over 3% each to Rs 691 and Rs 692, respectively.

Ambuja Cements and Cipla have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 130 and Rs 189, respectively.

Grasim, HDFC and NTPC have rallied over 2% each to Rs 2,946, Rs 1,988 and Rs 168, respectively.

BHEL, Tata Steel, Maruti and Reliance Communications have advaned around 1.7% each to Rs 1,725, Rs 647, Rs 824 and Rs 530, respectively.

Reliance, Ranbaxy, ACC and Bharti Airtel are up over 1% each at Rs 1,833, Rs 372, Rs 1,013 and Rs 849, respectively.

Out of 2,684 stocks traded so far, 1,958 have advanced, 678 have declined and 48 are unchanged.
