Sensex up 141pts; Tata Motors slips 3%

The Sensex is now up 141 points at 15,077.

SBI and ACC have soared over 3% each to Rs 1,598 and Rs 997, respectively.

Reliance Energy, Reliance Communications and Grasim have surged 2.8% each to Rs 758, Rs 545 and Rs 2,925, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Ambuja Cements, Tata Steel and Dr.Reddy's have rallied over 2% each to Rs  376, Rs 132, Rs 635 and Rs 635, respectively.

Reliance has moved up 1.8% to Rs 1,830. Maruti and Larsen & Toubro have gained 1.5% each at Rs 833 and Rs 2,522, respectively.

NTPC and Bharti Airtel have advanced 1.3% each to Rs 163 and Rs 874, respectively.

BHEL and ICICI Bank are up around 1% each at Rs 1,682 and Rs 900, respectively.

Tata Motors has dropped 2.5% to Rs 651.

Out of 2,488 stocks traded so far, 1,620 have advanced, 810 have declined and 58 are unchanged.
