Sensex up 143pts; Satyam spurts 3%

The Sensex is now up 143 points at 11,158.

Tata Motors has rallied nearly 4% to Rs 796. Satyam has gained nearly 3% at Rs 765.

SBI and ITC have advanced around 2.5% each to Rs 852 and Rs 176, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, Ranbaxy, Maruti, Hero Honda, Reliance Communications and Hindalco are up around 2% each.

Out of 2,375 stocks traded so far, 1,646 have advanced, 656 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
