Sensex up 145pts; Tata Steel soars 3%

The Sensex is now up 145 points at 15,138.

Tata Steel has soared nearly 3% to Rs 694. Reliance Communications, Mahindra & Mahindra and Ranbaxy have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 534, Rs 672 and Rs 381, respectively.

Tata Steel has moved up 2.3% to Rs 675. Bajaj Auto has rallied 2% to Rs 2,365.

Wipro, HDFC Bank, Infosys and Maruti are up over 1% each.

Hindustan Unilever is the sole loser among the index stocks.
