Sensex up 14pts; ICICI Bk, RIL slip

The Sensex slipped in the negative zone and touched a low of 10,762. The index is now up 14 points at 10,782.

BHEL and Bharti Tele have gained over 2% each at Rs 1,958 and Rs 375, respectively. NTPC has added 2% to Rs 117.

Hindalco, ONGC and Dr.Reddy's are up 1% each at Rs 177, Rs 1,113 and Rs 1,344, respectively.

ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Reliance have slipped over 1% each to Rs 480, Rs 1,213 and Rs 1,072, respectively.

The market breadth close to neutral - out of 2,328 stocks traded so far, 1,208 have advanced, 1,043 have declined and 77 are unchanged.
