Sensex up 150pts; Tata Motors rallies 4%

The Sensex is now up 150 points at 11,165.

Tata Motors has rallied 4% to Rs 797. ITC, Dr.Reddy's, Satyam and SBI have advanced around 2.5% each to Rs 177, Rs 1,454, Rs 762 and Rs 851, respectively.

Maruti, Ranbaxy and Reliance Communications have gained around 2% each to Rs 803, Rs 404 and Rs 283, respectively.

Wipro, Tata Steel, Hero Honda, HLL, Hindalco and Reliance Energy are the other smart gainers.

Out of 2,333 stocks traded so far, 1,609 have advanced, 662 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
