Sensex up 151pts; Bharti, HDFC Bank slip 2%

The Sensex is now up 151 points at 19,515.

Reliance Energy has zoomed 7.5% to Rs 1,870. Wipro has soared 6% to Rs 488.

Hindalco has surged 3.8% to Rs 192, and TCS has rallied 3.4% to Rs 1,048.

Mahindra & Mahindra has gained 2.5% at Rs 750, and Bajaj Auto has added 2.3% to Rs 2,771.

Maruti and Ranbaxy have moved up 2% each to Rs 1,034 and Rs 395, respectively.

BHEL and Grasim are up 1.8% each at Rs 2,729 and Rs 3,860, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has slipped 2% to Rs 921, and HDFC Bank has declined 1.8% to Rs 1,688.

HDFC and ICICI Bank are down 1% each at Rs 2,756 and Rs 1,171, respectively.

Out of 2,730 stocks traded so far, 2,104 have advanced, 576 have declined and 50 are unchanged.
