Sensex up 151pts; Tata Motors zooms 4%

The Sensex is now up 151 points at 15,019.

Tata Motors has zoomed 3.6% to Rs 693. Hindustan Unilever has soared 3.3% to Rs 202.

Ambuja Cements has surged 2.8% to Rs 130, and Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied 2.4% to Rs 687.

Grasim and HDFC have advanced over 2% each to Rs 2,946 and Rs 1,989, respectively. Cipla has gained nearly 2% at Rs 188.

NTPC, Maruti and BHEL have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 168, Rs 824 and Rs 1,722, respectively.

ACC and Tata Steel have added 1.5% each to Rs 1,016 and Rs 645, respectively.

Bharti Aritel, Reliance Communications, Reliance, Dr.Reddy's and Reliance Energy are up around 1% each.

Out of 2,655 stocks traded so far, 1,928 have advanced, 662 have declined and 65 are unchanged.
