Sensex up 154pts; mkt breadth extremely +ve

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 46 points at 10,855. Continued buying in early trades saw the index rally to a high of 10,992.

The index is now up 155 points at 10,964.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 1,839 stocks traded so far, 1,467 have advanced, 335 have declined and 37 are unchanged.
