Sensex up 156pts; REL, NTPC gain 3%

The Sensex is now up 156 points at 18,682.

DLF, Reliance Energy and Larsen & Toubro have surged over 3% each to Rs 850, Rs 1,658 and Rs 4,065, respectively.

NTPC has rallied 2.6% to Rs 234, and ACC has gained 2% at Rs 1,125.

Tata Motors and BHEL have moved up 1.8% each to Rs 705 and Rs 2,530, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has advanced 1.5% to Rs 2,510, and Grasim has added 1.3% to Rs 3,685.

ONGC and HDFC Bank have slipped 1% each to Rs 1,138 and Rs 1,578, respectively.
