Sensex up 157pts; Cipla drops 2%

The Sensex is now up 157 points at 15,150.

Reliance Communications has soared 3.5% to Rs 538. HDFC Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra have surged 3% each to Rs 1,192 and Rs 675, respectively.

Tata Motors has rallied 2% to Rs 689. Ranbaxy and Bajaj Auto have moved up 1.8% each to Rs 379 and Rs 2,360, respectively.

Reliance, ICICI Bank, ACC and ITC have gained 1.3% each at Rs 1,916, Rs 869, Rs 1,055 and Rs 171, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's and Infosys are up 1% each at Rs 637 and Rs 1,852, respectively.

Cipla has dropped over 2% to Rs 166, and Reliance Energy has slipped 1.5% to Rs 770.

Out of 2,673 stocks traded so far, 1,636 have advanced, 971 have declined and 66 are unchanged.
