Sensex up 157pts; Satyam surges 3%

The Sensex is now up 157 points at 14,221.

Satyam has surged 2.5% to Rs 508.

HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hero Honda and HDFC have rallied around 2% each to Rs 1,115, Rs 1,990, Rs 694 and Rs 1,782, respectively.

Tata Motors, BHEL, ICICI Bank and ONGC have gained 1.7% each at Rs 665, Rs 1,335, Rs 919 and Rs 879, respectively.
