Sensex up 158pts; Bharti soars 3%

The Sensex is now up 158 points at 11,819.

Bharti Airtel has surged 3% to Rs 438. Larsen & Toubro, Satyam and Maruti have gained 2.5% each at Rs 2,516, Rs 803 and Rs 944, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's and Infosys have advanced over 2% each to Rs 728 and Rs 1,808, respectively.

Hero Honda, Tata Motors and HLL are up 2% each.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,095 stocks traded so far, 1,563 have advanced, 475 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
