Sensex up 15pts; Bajaj slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 15 points at 12,899.

HDFC Bank has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 980, and HDFC has shed 2.5% to Rs 1,476.

Wipro has slipped 2.2% to Rs 562. Bajaj Auto has declined 2% to Rs 3,060. BHEL is down 1% at Rs 2,440.

Ranbaxy has surged nearly 3% to Rs 423. Larsen & Toubro has rallied 1.7% to Rs 1,312, and Dr.Reddy's has added 1.5% to Rs 727.

ICICI Bank has gained 1.3% at Rs 737. Reliance Communications, Hindalco, HLL and SBI were up 1% each at Rs 377, Rs 185, Rs 234  and Rs 1,043, respectively.

Out of 2,406 stocks traded so far, 1,262 have advanced, 1,062 have declined and 82 are unchanged.
