Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, Reliance Communications, Reliance and SBI have advanced around 2% each to Rs 2,845, Rs 986, Rs 592, Rs 2,323 and Rs 1,844, respectively.
Hindustan Unilever and Hindalco have gained 2% each at Rs 223 and Rs 163, respectively.
HDFC Bank, Tata Motors, Tata Steel and Mahindra & Mahindra are up around 1.5% each at Rs 1,345, Rs 753, Rs 752 and Rs 782, respectively.
Infosys has dropped 2.7% to Rs 1,773. ITC and Ambuja Cements have shed 1.4% each to Rs 188 and Rs 145, respectively.
