Sensex up 165pts; M&M slips 3%

The Sensex is now up 165 points at 15,426.

ITC has zoomed 3.5% to Rs 173. BHEL has soared 2.8% to Rs 1,690.

Bajaj Auto and ACC have surged 2.5% each to Rs 2,350 and Rs 1,048, respectively.

HDFC, Reliance Communications, Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Energy have rallied over 2% each to Rs 1,951, Rs 552, Rs 2,498 and Rs 796, respectively.

Ranbaxy and NTPC have moved up 1.8% each to Rs 384 and Rs 166, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has dropped 3% to Rs 731.
