Sensex up 174pts; Rel Energy soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 174 points at 19,911.

Cipla has soared 4.6% to Rs 198. Reliance Energy has zoomed nearly 4% to Rs 1,960.

ICICI Bank has surged over 3% to Rs 1,199. Maruti has advanced 2.7% to Rs 1,060, and HDFC has added 2.5% to Rs 2,810.

DLF has gained 2% at Rs 974. NTPC and Infosys have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 248 and Rs 1,630, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra is up 1.5% at Rs 786.

Grasim and Bajaj Auto have shed 2.6% each at Rs 3,697 and Rs 2,727, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped 2.2% to Rs 195, and HDFC Bank has declined 1.6% to Rs 1,700.

Out of 2,859 stocks traded so far, 1,925 have advanced, 890 have declined and 44 are unchanged.
