Sensex up 178pts; breadth firmly +ve

The Sensex is now up 178 points at 15,114.

ACC has advanced nearly 4% to Rs 1,002. SBI is up 3.7% at Rs 1,605.

Reliance Energy and RCom are trading with gains of over 3% each at Rs 761 and Rs 547, respectively.

Reliance is now up 2% at Rs 1,834. ICICI Bank is up over 1% at Rs 901.

Advances are ahead of declines nearly 2:1 - out of 2,516 scrips traded till now, 1,652 have logged gains.
