Sensex up 17pts; Dr.Reddy's soars 8%

The Sensex is up 17 points at 10,130.

Dr.Reddy's has flared up by 8% to Rs 1,266.

Tata Motors has zoomed 5% to Rs 807, and Grasim has surged 4.2% to Rs 1,715.

Hero Honda and Maruti have rallied 3% each to Rs 919 and Rs 774, respectively.

HDFC Bank, ACC, Tata Power, Reliance Energy and Tata Steel are up 1-2% each.

Ranbaxy has tumbled 2.7% to Rs 435.

ITC has shed 1.5% to Rs 168, and Hindalco is down 1% at Rs 161.

Wipro has slipped 1% to Rs 490.

Out of 2,565 stocks traded so far, 1,305 have advanced, 1,181 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
