Reliance Infra has advanced further; it's up 5.3% to Rs 1,430. Hindalco has gained 4.9% to Rs 183.50, Jaiprakash Associates is also up 3.8% to Rs 256.
Satyam, Bhel, L&T, Tata Steel and ICICI Bank are up over 2% each.
ONGC is down 1.2% to Rs 1,016, Ranbaxy, Hindustan Unilever and Wipro are down under 1% each.
