Sensex up 185pts; RIL, Bharti shine

The Sensex is now up 185 points at 12,922.

HDFC Bank has zoomed 6.7% to Rs 1,055. ICICI Bank has rallied 3.8% to Rs 722.

Hindalco has surged 4% to Rs 182. Larsen & Toubro has added 3.6% to Rs 1,313.

ITC has rallied 2.8% to Rs 194. TCS and Wipro have moved up around 2.5% each at Rs 1,132 and Rs 570, respectively.

Reliance and Bharti have gained 2% each at Rs 1,214 and Rs 487, respectively.

Out of 2,582 stocks traded so far, 1,399 have declined, 1,118 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
