Sensex up 189pts; DLF, Hindalco gain 3%

The Sensex is now up 189 points at 20,396.

Bharti Airtel has zoomed 5.5% to Rs 993. Hindalco and DLF have soared around 3% each to Rs 220 and Rs 1,094, respectively.

Reliance Communications has gained 2.4% at Rs 750.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, ITC, Maruti, ONGC, Larsen & Toubro, Ranbaxy and ACC are the other major gainers.

Ambuja Cements has shed 1.7% at Rs 147.
