Sensex up 18pts; ITC gains 3%

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 18 points at 13,196.

ITC has soared over 3% to Rs 160. HDFC, Tata Motors and HLL have surged around 2.8% each to Rs 1,599, Rs 722 and Rs 209, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Ranbaxy have rallied around 2% each to Rs 990 and Rs 358, respectively. BHEL has added 1.7% to Rs 2,467.

Grasim has gained 1.5% at Rs 2,230. Gujarat Ambuja and Reliance Communications are up over 1% each at Rs 110 and Rs 420, respectively.

Satyam has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 446. Wipro and Infosys have slipped over 2% each to Rs 549 and Rs 2,001, respectively.

TCS has shed 1.5% to Rs 1,199. Bajaj Auto and Dr.Reddy's are down over 1% each to Rs 2,270 and Rs 721, respectively.

Out of 2,619 stocks traded so far, 1,582 have advanced, 968 have declined and 69 are unchanged.
