Sensex up 190pts, ITC moves up 2%

The Sensex hit a high of 15,819 - just 50 points away from its all-time high of 15,869 - but has now shed some gains on profit-taking, and is up 193 points at 15,807.

ICICI Bank has moved up 2.5% to Rs 906.

ITC is also up 2.5% at Rs 183.

Reliance has advanced 1.6% to Rs 2,058. SBI is up over 1% at Rs 1,698.

REL, RCom, Bharti, Tata Motors andf M&M are also trading with gains of over 1% each.
