Sensex up 191pts; breadth turns -ve

The Sensex is now up 191 points at 15,283.

Hindalco has zoomed nearly 6% to Rs 174. Reliance and ACC have soared over 3% each to Rs 1,773 and Rs 1,106, respectively.

Tata Motors, BHEL and Mahindra & Mahindra have surged 2.8% each to Rs 761, Rs 1,687 and Rs 825, respectively.

Tata Steel has gained 2.6% at Rs 690. ITC, Satyam and Ambuja Cements moved up around 2% each to Rs 156, Rs 489 and Rs 129, respectively.

TCS has dropped over 2% to Rs 1,136. Dr.Reddy's has shed 1.6% at Rs 671.

Hindustan Unilever, Ranbaxy, Reliance Communications and Cipla are down over 1% each to Rs 203, Rs 354, Rs 555 and Rs 211, respectively.

The market breadth has turned negative - out of 2,700 stocks traded so far, 1,361 have declined, 1,273 have advanced and 66 are unchanged.
