Sensex up 191pts; market breadth bullish

The Sensex is now up 191 points at 12,395.

HDFC Bank has soared 4% to Rs 928. Reliance Communications has surged 2.7% to Rs 349.

Larsen & Toubro, Grasim, Cipla, Infosys and SBI have rallied over 2% each to Rs 1,260, Rs 2,544, Rs 257, Rs 1,838 and Rs 1,034, respectively.

Tata Steel, TCS and ICICI Bank are the other significant gainers.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,204 stocks traded so far, 1,736 have advanced, 411 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
