Sensex up 192pts; ACC surges 4%

The Sensex is now up 192 points at 14,356.

Tata Motors and Reliance Energy have soared around 4% each to Rs 648 and Rs 733, respectively. ACC has zoomed 3.7% to Rs 1,008.

Tata Steel and Satyam have surged 2.8% each to Rs 576 and Rs 435, respectively.

ONGC and SBI have rallied 2.4% each to Rs 803 and Rs 1,449, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindalco and BHEL have moved up 2% each to Rs 637, Rs 142 and Rs 1,694, respectively.

Maruti, Reliance, Ranbaxy, NTPC and Reliance Communications have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 789, Rs 1,769, Rs 354, Rs 162 and Rs 494, respectively.

Out of 2,540 stocks traded so far, 1,376 have advanced, 1,097 have declined and 67 are unchanged.
