Sensex up 194pts; Hindaco surges 3%

The Sensex is now up 194 points at 19,197.

DLF has zoomed over 5% to Rs 928. Hindalco has soared 2.8% to Rs 186.

SBI has rallied 2.5% to Rs 2,326, and Reliance Energy has gained 2.3% at Rs 1,702.

Tata Steel has advanced 1.7% to Rs 815, and HDFC Bank has added 1.5% to Rs 1,703.

ITC, ONGC, HDFC and NTPC are the other major gainers.

BHEL has slipped 1.4% to Rs 2,650.
