Sensex up 195pts; Rel Energy soars 5%

The Sensex is now up 195 points at 18,721.

Reliance Energy has zoomed 5% to Rs 1,686. DLF has soared nearly 4% to Rs 854.

Larsen & Toubro, NTPC and HDFC have surged 3% each to Rs 4,061, Rs 234 and Rs 2,635, respectively.

Tata Motors has rallied 2.5% to Rs 709. Bajaj Auto and BHEL have advanced over 2% each to Rs 2,525 and Rs 2,534, respectively.

Infosys has gained 1.8% at Rs 1,560. ACC has moved up 1.6% to Rs 1,121.

HDFC Bank has shed 1.7% at Rs 1,567.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,557 stocks traded so far, 1,786 have advanced, 727 have declined and 44 are unchanged.
