Sensex up 196pts; Rel Energy soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 196 points at 19,199.

DLF has zoomed 5.5% to Rs 930. Reliance Energy has soared 3.8% to Rs 1,726.

Hindalco has surged 2.7% to Rs 186. SBI has rallied 2.4% to Rs 2,324.

Infosys and ONGC have gained 2% each at Rs 1,600 and Rs 1,163, respectively.

Tata Steel and HDFC Bank have advanced nearly 2% each to Rs 817 and Rs 1,707, respectively.

NTPC, Maruti, HDFC, ITC and TCS are the other major gainers.

Ambuja Cements has slipped over 1% to Rs 150.
