Sensex up 19pts; breadth extremely +ve

The Sensex is now up 19 points at 14,881.

Ambuja Cements has soared over 2% to Rs 132. Reliance Communications, ACC and Bharti Airtel have rallied around 1.5% each to Rs 554, Rs 1,037 and Rs 865, respectively.

Tata Steel, Hindalco, Hindustan Unilever and NTPC are up over 1% each to Rs 634, Rs 156, Rs 201 and Rs 154, respectively.

ICICI Bank has shed 2.5% to Rs 981.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,216 stocks traded so far, 1,402 have advanced, 736 have declined and 78 are unchanged.
