Sensex up 203pts; breadth fairly +ve

The Sensex is now up 203 points at 19,794.

Hindalco has zoomed 7% to Rs 196. NTPC has soared 4.6% to Rs 248.

Reliance and Reliance Energy have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 2,740 and Rs 1,871, respectively.

ACC and ONGC have gained 2.3% each at Rs 1,032 and Rs 1,328, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and Bajaj Auto have rallied 2% each to Rs 4,372 and Rs 2,440, respectively.

BHEL has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,708. HDFC Bank, Maruti and Dr.Reddy's have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 1,736, Rs 1,010 and Rs 610, respectively.

Cipla, SBI and Tata Steel are up 1.2% each at Rs 179, Rs 2,268 and Rs 890, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has slipped 1.6% to Rs 927.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,621 stocks traded so far, 1,717 have advanced, 825 have declined and 79 are unchanged.
