Sensex up 203pts; TCS sheds 2%

The Sensex is now up 203 points at 15,295.

Hindalco has zoomed over 6% to Rs 175. BHEL has soared 3.5% to Rs 1,700.

Ambuja Cements has surged over 3% to Rs 130. Reliance and ACC have rallied 2.6% each to Rs 1,764 and Rs 1,100, respectively.

Tata Motors and Larsen & Toubro have advanced over 2% each to Rs 755 and Rs 2,425, respectively.

ITC has gained 1.8% at Rs 156. Grasim and HDFC have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 2,862 and Rs 1,982, respectively.

TCS has shed 1.7% to Rs 1,142. Hindustan Unilever has slipped 1.3% to Rs 203.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,575 stocks traded so far, 1,372 have advanced, 1,129 have declined and 74 are unchanged.
