Sensex up 20pts; Dr.Reddy's slips 2.5%

The Sensex is up 20 points at 10,188.

Ranbaxy and Cipla have gained 2% each at Rs 459 and Rs 554, respectively.

HLL has moved up 1.7% to Rs 241. HDFC has added 1.5% to Rs 1,350.

NTPC, Tata Power, Tata Steel, Grasim and BHEL have gained over 1% each.

Dr.Reddy's has dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,354.

Bajaj Auto has slipped 1.8% to Rs 2,526, and Infosys has declined 1% to Rs 2,792.

Out of 2,526 stocks traded so far, 1,666 have declined, 783 have advanced and the rest are unmoved.

Jagran continues to top the value chart with a turnover of Rs 274.73 crore followed by Larsen & Toubro (Rs 69.45 crore), Reliance (Rs 65.24 crore), Reliance Capital (Rs 62.32 crore) and Satyam (Rs 55.11 crore).

Jagran also leads the volume chart with trades of around 92.34 lakh shares followed by RCVL (51.62 lakh), Prism (49.47 lakh), Mysore Cement (43.39 lakh) and Rain Calcining (25.40 lakh).
