Sensex up 211pts; breadth very +ve

The Sensex is now up 211 points at 12,741.

ITC has surged 4.4% to Rs 149. Dr.Reddy's has rallied 3.5% to Rs 669.

TCS has moved up 2.4% to Rs 1,242. Bharti Airtel, Hindalco, ACC and Reliance Communications have advanced 2% each to Rs 744, Rs 131, Rs 762 and Rs 406, respectively.

Infosys, Gujarat Ambuja and Satyam are up nearly 2% each at Rs Rs 2,056, Rs 108 and Rs 440, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 1,961 stocks traded so far, 1,530 have advanced, 384 have declined and 47 are unchanged.
