Sensex up 212pts; breadth very +ve

The Sensex is now up 212 points at 15,520.

ICICI Bank and Maruti have zoomed around 3.5% each to Rs 915 and Rs 867, respectively. Tata Steel has soared 3% to Rs 670.

BHEL, Tata Motors and TCS have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 1,758, Rs 677 and Rs 1,181, respectively.

Hindalco has rallied over 2% to Rs 165. Ranbaxy, HDFC Bank, Wipro and Reliance Communications have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 387, Rs 1,188, Rs 483 and Rs 552, respectively.

NTPC, Reliance, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra & Mahindra and ACC are up over 1% each.

The market breadth is extremely bullish - out of 2,200 stocks traded so far, 1,735 have advanced, 421 have declined and 44 are unchanged.
