Sensex up 216pts; Bharti, Hindalco gain 2%

The Sensex is now up 216 points at 19,807.

ONGC has surged 2% to Rs 1,325. Bharti Airtel and Hindalco have soared 1.8% each to Rs 960 and Rs 187, respectively.

NTPC, Bajaj Auto and Reliance Energy have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 241, Rs 2,435 and Rs 1,850, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Hindustan Unilever have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 1,735 and Rs 196, respectively.

Reliance, ACC, HDFC, BHEL and Larsen & Toubro are up 1% each at Rs 2,697, Rs 1,020, Rs 2,634, Rs 2,690 and Rs 4,328, respectively.
