Sensex up 216pts; Indiabulls zooms 13%

The Sensex touched a new all-time intra-day high of 12,275, and is now up 216 points at 12,258.

Dr.Reddy's has soared over 16% to Rs 1,665, and Ranbaxy has gained 9% at Rs 515. Cipla has spurted over 2% to Rs 267.

Hindalco has surged 4.3% to Rs 234. ACC has rallied 3.5% to Rs 1,049. Grasim has advanced 2.7% to Rs 2,585, and Gujarat Ambuja has moved up 2.5% to Rs 127.

ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have added 3% each to Rs 609 and Rs 851, respectively.

ITC has moved up 2.2% to Rs 208.

There is not a single loser among the Sensex stocks.

The market breadth is positive. Out of 2,169 stocks traded so far, 1,668 have advanced, 463 have declined and 38 are unchanged.

Indiabulls has zoomed over 13% to Rs 355. ETC Network, Tantia Constructions, Goodyear, Lloyd Steel, RCF, Zee, Contianer Corporation, HMT, Bank of India, Jaiprakash, Adani Exports and Finolex Cables are the other major gainers.

UCO Bank has dropped nearly 4% to Rs 25.35. Sesa Goa, Precision Wires, Godrej Industries, Raj Spinning, SRF, ICI India, Ashok Leyland, Gillette, Jet, BEML, ING Vysya Bank, GE Shipping, Sun TV, United Phosphorous and Proctor & Gamble are the other prominent losers.
