Sensex up 219pts; Reliance surges 3%

The Sensex is now up 219 points at 15,311.

Hindalco has zoomed over 6% to Rs 175. BHEL has soared 3.3% to Rs 1,696.

Reliance has surged 2.9% to Rs 1,769. Larsen & Toubro, HDFC and Ambuja Cements have rallied around 2% each to Rs 2,249, Rs 1,995 and Rs 129, respectively.

ICICI Bank has advanced 1.7% to Rs 983. ITC and Grasim have added 1.5% each to Rs 155 and Rs 2,860, respectively.

TCS has shed 1.5% to Rs 1,144.
