Sensex up 21pts

The Sensex, which touched a high of 7,976 in early deals, has shed gains, and is now up 21 points at 7,946.

ITC is adding more gains after the 3.5% rally yesterday, and is now up 1.6% (Rs 28) at Rs 1,821. SBI is up Rs 12 at Rs 830.

ICICI Bank is up 1.5% at Rs 492.

Infosys has gained Rs 12 to Rs 2,368. TCS has declined Rs 6 to Rs 1,405.

Declines are ahead of advances - out of 2,598 scrips traded, 1,318 have declined, 1,218 have moved up and 62 are unchanged.
