Sensex up 21pts; HDFC, RCom slip 2%

The Sensex is now up 21 points at 15,332.

Ambuja Cements has soared 3.5% to Rs 138. Satyam and Reliance have surged 2.7% each to Rs 495 and Rs 1,824, respectively.

TCS has rallied 2.5% to Rs 1,156. Dr.Reddy's, Wipro, ITC and ICICI Bank are up 1% each at Rs 669, Rs 506, Rs 156 and Rs 979, respectively.

HDFC, Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Communications have plunged over 2% each to Rs 1,953, Rs 804 and Rs 562, respectively.

BHEL, Tata Steel and SBI have shed 1.7% each to Rs 1,629, Rs 682 and Rs 1,568, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has dropped 1.5% to Rs 2,223. HDFC Bank, Cipla and Bharti Airtel are down 1% each at Rs 1,202, Rs 207 and Rs 870, respectively.

Out of 2,691 stocks traded so far, 1,523 have declined, 1,094 have advanced and 74 are unchanged.
