Sensex up 220pts; ITC, Wipro lead

The Sensex is now up 220 points at 13,604.

ITC has gained 3.4% at Rs 158. Wipro has surged 3% to Rs 585.

ACC and Gujarat Ambuja have rallied 2.5% each to Rs 767 and Rs 111, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Communications, Grasim, Bharti Airtel and BHEL have gained around 2% each to Rs 1,648, Rs 431, Rs 2,335, Rs 797 and Rs 2,527, respectively.

Out of 2,191 stocks traded so far, 1,622 have advanced, 515 have declined and 54 are unchanged.
