Sensex up 221pts; TCS, HUL weak

The Sensex is now up 221 points at 15,312.

Hindalco has zoomed nearly 7% to Rs 176. BHEL has soared 4.4% to Rs 1,713.

Reliance has surged 2.7% to Rs 1,765. ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC and ITC have rallied around 2% each to Rs 987, Rs 2,427, Rs 1,992 and Rs 156, respectively.

Ambuja Cements and Reliance Energy have gained 1.7% each at Rs 129 and Rs 680, respectively.

Tata Motors, NTPC, Grasim, Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, ACC, Infosys and SBI are up around 1% each.

TCS and Hindustan Unilever (HUL) are down 1% each to Rs 1,147 and Rs 204, respectively.
