Sensex up 222pts; SBI, ONGC lead

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 126 points at 13,072, and then rallied to a high of 13,189.

The index is now up 222 points at 13,168.

SBI has surged 3.5% to Rs 1,016, and ONGC has soared over 3% to Rs 838.

HLL, Reliance Communications, BHEL, Satyam, Bharti Airtel, Larsen & Toubro and HDFC Bank have rallied around 2.5% each to Rs 196, Rs 420, Rs 2,155, Rs 462, Rs 780, Rs 1,538 and Rs 989, respectively.

All index stocks are in positive zone.
