Sensex up 223pts; ICICI Bank soars 3%

The Sensex is now up 223 points at 15,531.

All index stocks are in positive zone.

ICICI Bank has soared 3.3% to Rs 913. Tata Steel and TCS have surged 2.3% each to Rs 666 and Rs 1,180, respectively.

Tata Motors, NTPC and Ranbaxy have rallied around 2% each to Rs 675, Rs 174 and Rs 389, respectively.

HDFC Bank, ACC and Reliance Communications have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 1,191, Rs 1,042 and Rs 552, respectively.

Reliance Energy, Larsen & Toubro, Wipro, Bajaj Auto and Maruti have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 794, Rs 2,525, Rs 482, Rs 2,340 and Rs 848, respectively.

Satyam, ONGC, BHEL, Reliance, Mahindra & Mahindra and Grasim are up around 1% each.
