Sensex up 224pts, bank scrips hold gains

The Sensex is now moving in a narrow range, and is up 224 points at 14,152.

SBI is still up over 6% (Rs 64) at Rs 1,124. ICICI Bank is still up 3.5% at Rs 949. HDFC Bank is up over 2% at Rs 1,011.

Reliance has gained 1.7% to Rs 1,580. HLL has advanced 2.5% to Rs 207. Bharti has gained 4% to Rs 875.

Tata Motors is holding over 3% gains at Rs 742. Bajaj and Maruti continue to trade with gains.

Tata Steel has moved up 3.5% to Rs 557.
